# History Of Pi

Our Ancestors for thousands of years have been obsessed with the precision of Pi 3.14… to ensure that their Temples being built were specimens of perfected geometry mirroring the Stars.

From the time of the Sumerians to the Egyptians we see the construction of the Great Pyramid which is the only structure known that contains both Pi 3.141… and Phi 1.618…

In 300 BC Eudemus, a student of Aristotle, debated that no matter how many polygons we use to attempt to fill the Circle, we can never achieve filling the Area Under the Curve.

This was then challenged by Aristotle in 287 BC who calculated an approximation to Pi as 22 divided by 7.

This debate, identifying the true value of Pi continued on with famous Indian mathematicians like Bhaskaracharya and Chinese masters like Zu Chongzhi who estimated Pi as 355 ÷ 113 giving a value of 3.141592… by making use of a polygon with 3072 sides, all by hand!

This obsession was continued by many great European minds who took Pi to thousands of decimals. And finally in our current era we have satellite telecommunications using Pi to advance our technologies but this is being challenged by Jain 108 who proposes that the geometric Path to Pi is via Phi (1.618…) aka Golden Pi 3.144… which is the Correctional Code for the New Millennium.
